Wilbur “Bill” Ault, 86, of Edison, Ohio died Friday February 18, 2005 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born in Marion County, Ohio on July 6, 1918, the son of the late Harley and Dora (Groves) Ault. He graduated from Claridon High School in 1936. He was a lifelong farmer who also did tileing and excavating. He attended the Harmony Chapel United Methodist Church. Wilbur served on the Board of Trustees for Morrow County Hospital for 24 years and the Edison School Board for 12 years.
He is survived by two sons Tom (Shirley) Ault of Oviedo, Florida, and Jim (Sharon) Ault of Edison, Ohio; two granddaughters Alicia (Jeff) Levings of Mount Gilead, Ohio, and Adrianna Ault of Brooklyn, New York; a step-grandson Gradie (Jennifer) Crowley; five great grandchildren Jarrett, Jeffery, Aubrey, and Jamison Levings, and Shea Crowley.
His wife Donna Ruth Ault, whom he married Feb. 18, 1940, preceded him in death on March 27, 2003. He was also preceded in death by two brothers; Francis and Delbert.
Friends may call at the Craven Funeral Home in Mount Gilead on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Pastor Jeannie Winters will conduct funeral services there Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Caledonia Cemetery.
