Vivian M. Morris, age 84, of Columbus Road, Fredericktown, died Friday April 4, 2003 at Knox Community Hospital. She was born on May 12, 1918 in Fredericktown to the late Leland and Florence (Robinson) Ebersole. She was a member of the Fredericktown Baptist Church, Pythian Sisters of Fredericktown and the Ann Hill Chapter 81 Order of Eastern Star of Fredericktown where she served as past Worthy Matron, organist and Star Point. Mrs. Morris and her husband owned and operated Morris Dry Cleaners of Fredericktown and Gambier.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years Alfred Morris, a son Carl D. (Linda) Morris of Bellville, two daughters, Leota Park of Oakridge, Tennessee, Ann (Larry) Ullman of Fredericktown, seven grandchildren, Mark Morris, Michael Morris, Melissa Porter, Tonya Mason, Todd Park, Matt Ullman, Buffy Lee Ann Barclay, thirteen great grandchildren, five brothers, Lloyd (Betty) Ebersole, Lewis Ebersole, Dick (Judy) Ebersole all of Fredericktown, Ernie (Pat) Ebersole of Chesterville, Bob (Betty) Ebersole of Georgia and four sisters, Lillian (Denzel) Lower of Mount Vernon, Aileen (Walter) Bishop of Fredericktown, Ruth (Herple) Reeder of Butler and Bonnie Hobson of Ashland.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a son-in law Tom Park and a granddaughter Dawn Malburg.
Friends may call Sunday from 1 to 3 PM with an Eastern Star Service at 3:15 PM at the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown where a service will be held Monday at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Order of Eastern Star Ann Hill Chapter 81 or to the charity of one’s choice and can be left at the Funeral Home.
