Vivian Gaynell (Conley) Sage, age 73, of Westerville and formerly of Galion, passed away Thursday morning, March 13, 2014, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on May 6, 1940, in West Liberty, Ky, to the late Hobert B. and Maggie Nettie Nan (Wright) Conley.

On May 22, 1975 in Virginia she married the love of her life, Myron A. Sage, who has preceded her in death. Together they shared 24 years of marriage and raised a wonderful daughter, Pamela S. (Bumgarner) Dougherty Walker.

Vivian was a devote woman of faith. She had a strong belief in the Lord and loved to show it, even took some bible courses where she received a diploma in bible studies.

She will be remembered for her love of her family. Vivian had a very outgoing, caring, and loving personality. Always giving to others and putting others needs first. She also had a flamboyant side that loved to dress up even if there was not a special occasion.

Vivian will be dearly missed by her daughter, Pam of Westerville; granddaughter, Rachel Dougherty of Westerville; sisters: Juanita (Ross) Oberdier of Richwood, Goldie Knox of Marysville, Gloria Conley of Richwood, Freda McCalf of Richwood, and Betty Hall of Columbus; brothers: Herbert (Shelby) Conley of MS, and Hobert (Sharon) Conley of Marion; and by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Anna Jean Reidmiller.

Her family will greet friends on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, from 11:00 to 12:00 PM, at Snyder Funeral Homes, Snyder Chapel, 76 South Main Street, Mount Gilead. Services will follow at 12:00 PM with Pastor Herbert Conley officiating. Burial will take place immediately after at Glendale Cemetery in Cardington.
