Virginia Jolly, age 93, formerly of Centerburg died at the home of her daughters in Pataskala late Sunday evening, October 6, 2002.
She was born on July 11, 1909 in Huntington, WV to the late Burgess and Mary L. Cremeans Stewart. A homemaker and resident of Franklin, Delaware, Knox, and Licking Counties for over 50 years. She enjoyed taking care of her family, cooking, and canning.
Survived by Son: Orum (Marjorie) Jolly of Columbus, Daughters: Christine Fannin of Whitehall, Helen (Dale) Noble of Mt. Vernon, Mary (Dan) Lehigh of Dover, Alice (Dennis) Long of Mt. Vernon, Marjorie (Dick) DeBolt of Pataskala, Pauline (John) Mould of Lebanon, IL, 41 Grandchildren, numerous Great-grandchildren, and Great-great-grandchildren, Brother: Russell Stewart of Huntington, WV.
Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years: Andrew Jolly in 1978, Children, Richard, Wilbur, Pansy Warren, Freda Bailey, Brothers: Burgess, Colonel, Everett Stewart, Sister: Carrie Moore, several Grandchildren, and Great-Grandchildren.
Friends may call Wednesday 5-8 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR 3 at 61, Sunbury, where funeral services will be held Thursday 1:00 p.m., Rev. William Myers officiating. Interment will follow in Sunbury Memorial Park.
