Virginia “Jenny” Siler, age 87 of Marion, passed away on Friday, December 07, 2018 at DeWolfe House in Marion.

Jenny was born on December 18, 1930 in Marion, the daughter of Harm and Effie Huffman.

Jenny was a beautiful woman, inside and out. She was a devoted homemaker that loved to spoil her family. She was a self-taught seamstress, who delighted in designing her children’s clothing when they were young and even making her daughter’s wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses too. She had a green thumb and would create stunning flower gardens year after year. Family was everything to Jenny and her nurturing and loving spirit was felt by all. She had a deep faith in God and read her Bible daily. She was a faithful member of Mount Vernon Avenue Church of Christ.

She is survived by her children: Brenda (Bill) Stout, Becky (Bill) Williamson and Tina (Tony) Montgomery; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one sister, Sue.

Jenny is preceded in death by her parents; husband Willie L. Siler; children: Jimmy Elwood Stone and Diane Rudd; and 12 siblings.

Visitation will be Monday, December 10, 2018 at Snyder Funeral Homes, GUNDER/HALL Chapel, 347 West Center St., Marion from 4PM to 7PM; Funeral service will be Tuesday at Mount Vernon Avenue Church of Christ, 947 Mt Vernon Ave, Marion at 10AM; Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in North Lewisburg, OH
