Vicky L. Grandstaff, age 63, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 10, 2021, at her home.  She was born on August 26, 1958, in Columbus, Ohio the daughter of Audrey and Marion (Snyder) Kemp.  Vicky helped her husband run the Westend Laundry in Mount Vernon.  She enjoyed camping and traveling with her family.

She is survived by her husband Harry Grandstaff; her children, Shannon Kemp, Ryan Kemp, Bobby Grandstaff and Brandy Barton; grandchildren, Chloe Barton, Kamry Grandstaff, Zane Grandstaff and Cole Barton.

Vicky was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will observe private services.  The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Vicky L. Grandstaff.

Memorial contributions in Vicky’s name may be made to the Knox County Animal Shelter.

  • So sorry to see this one go . She was so quirky and funny. She was such a great neighbor to my daughter and spoiled my granddaughter every holiday and birthday. She will be missed 😢. May you RIP Ms. Vicky.
