Tibor “T” Majoros

Tibor “T” Majoros, 75, of Cusseta, Georgia and former Marion, Ohio resident passed away January 1, 2018 in St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.
He was born April 27, 1942 in Kisvarda, Hungary and was the son of Ferene and Ferenene (Bogaesevics) Majoros. Tibor is survived by his wife of 48 years Melinda (Richardson) Majoros whom he married on February 16, 1969.
Tibor immigrated to the United States at age twelve and graduated from high school in Sweetwater, Tennessee. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for 23 years and was a Vietnam Veteran. After his retirement from the United States Army, Tibor and Melinda moved to Ohio and he worked 13 years for North Central Ohio Correctional Facility in Marion as a guard retiring as a Captain. He was a Mason and enjoyed cooking, fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Melinda Majoros of Findlay; daughters Christy (Pat) Gehrisch of Findlay and Adrianna Majoros of Columbus; son Dakota Majoros of Cusseta, Georgia; mother-in-law Pauline Richardson of Cusseta, Georgia; four grandchildren Kayla and Korey Keefe, Malia and J.T. Gehrisch; sister Erzsebet Nagy of Kisvarda, Hungary and numerous extended family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Johnny Keefe.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held Saturday at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating.
Full military honors will be conducted by the United States Army and the Galion Crestline Veterans Military Funeral Detail.
