Thomas Ungashick Sr., 57, of Delaware died early Monday morning at his residence. He was born June 14, 1950 in Marion to Fred and Lois (Johnson) Ungashick. He was a United States Navy veteran serving from 1969 until 1971 and an electrician for Midwest Acousta Fiber. He enjoyed NASCAR, Mid Ohio Races, playing for the “The Wild Child” Band, camping, hunting, planes, and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Marlene (Chambers); 2 daughters, Candida Wells of Marion and Tammy (Steve) Perry of Ostrander;
3 sons, Tommy (Gorjeana) Ungashick Jr. of Lima, Mike Harper and Terry Collins of Delaware; 9 grandchildren, Cindy, Jordan, Sam, Steven, Victoria, Davey, Alexus, Nicole, and Conner; sister, Norma Marolt of Logan; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife Michele Ungashick, and an infant brother Charles Michael Ungashick. The family will receive friends on Friday December 21st from 4 – 7 pm and where funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm at the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home, Delaware.
