Thomas Ray Waddell II, age 36 of Delaware died unexpectedly Sunday, June 19, 2011 at home.

He was born on November 30, 1974 in Delaware to Thomas R. Waddell I and Ruth (Wycoff) Waddell of Richwood. Tom attended Delaware Hayes High School and worked in the construction trade with Triangle Properties and Wallick Properties.

An avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns, he also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Always cheerful, kind, and supportive, he was a true friend. He attended the Berachah Church in Delaware. A jokester at heart, he was a good man. A treasured husband, father, son, brother, and uncle, he was most proud of his daughter.

In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his beloved wife: Chrissy (Fitch), daughter: Victoria Lynn, brother: James Waddell of Richwood, Grandmother: Geraldine Davis of Marion, Parents-in-law: Cynthia Fitch and George Thompson, nephews: James, Dustin, Chris, nieces: Katelyn, Haylee, Carah, cousins, best friend: Jason Lowrie, and numerous extended family and friends, especially Robert Mattix, Scott & Terry Anstaett.

Friends may call Saturday 3-7 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St., Delaware, where services will follow Saturday at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Jonathan Smith officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
