Thomas O. Wolverton

Thomas O. Wolverton, age 76 of Sunbury, formerly of Columbus, died Monday morning December 31, 2012 at Kobacker House in Columbus.
He was born on January 14, 1936 in Dayton to the late Giles and Anna May (Angeroff) Wolverton. He attended Christ Fellowship Church, Westerville. Graduate of Miami University of Ohio, member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, and has a BA in Mathematics.
Tom loved going to activities involving his children, whether it was swimming meets, dance recitals and other sports. He also loved to travel going to California, Europe and U.K. Tom loved Broadway Musicals and Music, reading biographies, watching movies, basketball, football, the History Channel, PBS and the Cincinnati Reds.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years: Anita (Culver) Wolverton; sons: Jeffrey of Los Angeles, Ca., Clinton of Columbus, Andrew of Oakland, Ca.; daughters: Paige (David) Winikoff of Menlo Park, Ca., Dee Dee Paeseler of Oakland, Ca., Kelly (TJ) Pinkston of Winnemucca, Nv., grandchildren: Asher, Aaron, Kulani, Jaxson, Miranda; brothers: Robert (Freida) of Avon Lake, David of Greenville; brother-in-law: Brent (Marge) Culver of Delaware; sister-in-law: Carol Wood of Galena.
Friends may call Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR 3 at 61, Sunbury where services will be held Saturday 11 a.m. with Pastor David Hedrick officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Sunbury Memorial Park.
