Thomas L. Frentsos, age 67 of Delaware passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Kobacker House following a courageous battle against cancer for 4 1/2 years.

He was born on January 31, 1951 in Delaware to the late Fody and Janet (Fuller) Frentsos. Tom graduated from Delaware Hayes High School in 1969, where he wore number 42 as co-captain of the football team. He proudly served his Country as a Sergeant E-5 in the US Army during the Vietnam era, 1969-71 serving as a Howitzer specialist.

Tom worked as a dental technician at Cap City Dental Lab for 25 years and in his spare time enjoyed golfing, tennis, fishing, and many trips to South Carolina. Possessing a unique charm he was always able to get a smile from friends and strangers alike. His genuine courtesy and kindness was admired by anyone that knew him.

He is survived by his soul-mate and best friend Jayne Marcum; brothers: Steve (Jeanne), Fody (Kelly), and Chris; sisters: Clara (Glenn) Hursey, Mary Beth (Dave) Kleman, and Celeste (Russ) Edwards; children: Nick (Katie), Ben (Mariana) Frentsos of Montana, and their children, Josie and Alex, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his parents was also preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law: Phil and Polly Frentsos.

To celebrate a life well-lived, family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Dr. at W. William St., Delaware, Ohio 43015.  Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. on Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 83 E. William St., Delaware with Rev. Michael Watson Celebrant. Military honors will follow provided the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter #1095.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Peletonia, 351 W. Nationwide Blvd, Columbus, Ohio 43215 and where 100% of the monies received go directly to cancer research, Kobacker House, 800 McConnell Dr., Columbus, Ohio 43214, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
