Thomas J. “Tom” Gallagher, age 75, of Delaware passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2005.

He was a proud employee of Worthington Industries, having worked as their Chief Electrical Engineer for 28 years. Tom recently opened his own motor shop, Denver Electric Motors in Delaware. He enjoyed golfing, tinkering with gadgets, and spending time with his family. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary (Hazelbaker) Gallagher. Granddaughter; Lea Cornell and her husband Andrew, Great-Grandsons; Zev and Skye Cornell, and Mother-in-law; Rose Hazelbaker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter; Kathleen Gallagher, two brothers, and a sister.

Friends may call Friday from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St., (SR 36), Delaware, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Father Kevin Kavanagh celebrant. Burial will follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Columbus.
