Thomas E. Naylor II, age 78, of Nuce Rd, Mt. Vernon, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born on November 20, 1927 in Washington, PA to the late Tom and Kenova (Yoder) Naylor. Thomas was employed at the Ludlow Corporation in the Quality Control Department. He served in the United States Coast Guard, was a member of the American Legion and was a longtime member of the Faith Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, of 29 years, Patricia (Moreland) Naylor, two step-daughters; Janelle (Phil) Kozlow of Mt. Vernon, Kelly Frost of Mt. Vernon; two daughters, Trudy (Terry) Tharp of Mt. Vernon, Robbin (Mike) Byrd of Jacksonville, FL.; a stepson Gordon Frost of Newark, OH; four sons, Gary (Kathy) Naylor of North Olmstead, OH., Rex (Debbie) Naylor of Fredericktown, Randy (Margaret) Naylor of Abilene, TX., Craig (Ellen) Naylor of Virginia Beach, VA.; seven step-grandchildren, eleven grandchildren, four step-great grandchildren, one great granddaughter, a brother Kenneth Naylor of Mt. Vernon, a sister Ernestine Gaddis of Mt. Vernon and many Nieces and Nephews. Thomas was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Clyde Gaddis, Sister-in-Law Ramona Naylor, a niece Karen (Naylor) Crumm and his faithful pet Peabody.

Friends may call on Sunday, December 11, 2005 from 1 to 3 P.M. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. A funeral service will be held on Monday at the Faith Lutheran Church at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Mark Wildermuth officiating. Interment will follow in the Mound View Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Lutheran Church Building Fund, 170 Mansfield Avenue, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050.
