Thelston O. Mc Coy

Thelston O. Mc Coy “T.O”, age 84, of Old Mansfield Road, Fredericktown, died Tuesday June 25, 2002 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on May 30, 1918 in Richland County to the late O. Clinton and Pauline (Walters) Mc Coy. Mr. Mc Coy retired as a manager for the Federal Land Bank serving Licking, Knox, Morrow, Muskingum and Coshocton Counties. He served in the United States Army Corps of Engineers during World War Two. He was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church of Mount Vernon and was a 54 year member of the Mount Vernon Kiwanis Club. Mr. Mc Coy was a 1937 graduate of Fredericktown High School and had attended The Ohio State University.
He is survived by a daughter Nancy (Douglas) Hull of Fredericktown, two sons, David (Marcia) Mc Coy of Fredericktown, Thomas Mc Coy of Loudonville, Ohio, five grandchildren, Bradley and Danica Hull, Kent, Drew and Haley Mc Coy, a sister, Geraldine Benson of Fredericktown, a brother, Wendell (Edith) Mc Coy of Lafayette, Indiana and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Ruth (Clark) Mc Coy, a brother Lyle Mc Coy, two sisters, Velda Ronk and Ethel Mc Coy.
Friends may call Friday from 1-3 and 6-8 at the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown, 33 E. College Street, Fredericktown, Ohio 43019 where a funeral service will be Saturday at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery.
