Lexington, Ohio

LEXINGTON: Terry Lee Garber, 51, of Sullivant Avenue, Columbus, and formerly of Lexington, died Saturday morning February 12, 2005 in The Ohio State University Hospital following a short illness.

He was born October 21, 1953 in Mansfield to Larry Garber and Patricia (Swimmley) Garber Dutil.

Terry had lived and worked in Columbus for many years, and leaves behind many good friends and caregivers at his home on Sullivant Avenue.

Terry was a joyous person to be around. Like his grandfather Garber, he never met a stranger, and never forgot one, either. He so enjoyed his family of cousins which included: John Allen Garber, Matthew Garber, Lester Beasley, Randy Beasley, Steven Beasley, Daniel Beasley and their families, and his special little buddy Zachary Beasley.

One of the highlights of Terry’s life was staying and visiting with Aunt Jane and Uncle Phil. He provided many happy memories at holidays and family events.

Terry learned to love the Lord and accepted him as his Savior and Provider. He never was happier than when he got up in church and sang a song about Jesus with his best friend Phil Beasley – they truly loved one another.

He is survived by his mother of Norwalk; uncle and aunt John and Lydia Garber of Lexington, aunt and uncle Jane and Phil Beasley; cousins and extended family.

Terry was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents Lester and Frances Garber; uncle Jim Garber; and aunt Ruth Ann Garber.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 17, 2005 at 12 noon in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home. Co-Pastor Lou Frontz will officiate. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home the hour prior to the funeral.
