Tammy Sue Jones, age 53 of Marion died unexpectedly Saturday, July 8, 2017 in Wytheville, Virginia.

She was born on May 2, 1964 in Columbus the daughter of Noah and Helen (Linley) Reed.

Tammy worked as an aid in home healthcare.  Her knowledge about the field astounded her family.

She was an old soul who was extremely proud of her Irish and American Indian heritage.

Tammy would do anything for anybody, especially her family.  They were her world.

Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved companion of 32 years John Springstun; daughter Jessica Springstun of Marion; father Noah Reed; grandchildren Amara, Ardarian, and Annalily; siblings Tina Clark, Brenda Pruett, Noah Reed Jr., Christel Pyles, Adam Reed Sr., Daniel Reed, and Danielle Ratcliff; step-mother Dawn Reed; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

In addition to her mother she was also preceded in death by her son Jeramiah Springstun and brother Donald Reed.

Friends may call on the family on Friday, July 14, 2017 from 1-3 PM at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home in Marengo. Graveside services will follow immediately in Marengo Cemetery.

Contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.
