  • A long time friend, one who will be and is deeply missed. Our often numerous times a day conversations are but a few things I will cherish and miss most about him. I keep waiting to hear the phone ring but it doesn’t. We talked about many things but always ended in a conversation about obeying Gods word fully and how we lost so many blessing and more importantly would have missed our entry into heaven by not knowing this truth from the beginning. Bruce was always ready to help others not just in word but in deed as well, a generous giver of him self to any one he could. He spent 7 years writing a book which he just finished but did not live to see it published. This church will see to that end. A very unique man that had a definite gift of teaching.
Thank you God for letting me be one of his friends.

  • Our family was honored to call him our pastor and friend when he pastored Fellowship Baptist Church in Berea Ky many years ago. We learned a lot from Bruce’s teaching in the Bible as he was a very intelligent human being and he loved a good challenge with anyone when it came to Gods word. He took my husband Don for his very first ride in a plane. We have shared many suppers together and Paula and he will always remain friends. We will miss him greatly. Condolences to Paula and the children. May God bless you always.

    • Bruce, “It Is Finished”. I am singing this in your honor at home today because I know how much you loved that song! I’ve Watched you cry many a tear when it was sung and you would always preach such a special message after. We will miss you!

  • As I sit here thinking of all the memories of doing things with Bruce, it is hard to believe he is gone, the great thing is he will not be forgotten. We enjoyed many motorcycle trips together on 750 Honda’s and Goldwings going out west. I learned a lot from Bruce modifying motorcycle and car engines. Bruce helped me and my family so much, and many others. When you would help him he had to always help you more. Bruce was a great teacher of the scriptures, we learned a lot. Be at peace my friend. as I know you are. Prayers to the family.

  • As a child, I looked up to you so much! As an adult , your many messages stuck with me…( yep, I was listening! ). I always respected your intelligence and your love of family. I passed many of your lessons on to my own. I know you are up there with my mamaw, papaw. Please hug them for me. Thank you, uncle Bruce for your many lessons.

  • I am so blessed by reading of a life well-lived! I prayed for Bruce many many years ago and God answered abundantly! He is a faithful GOD!

  • I was born again, saved by the Precious Blood of Jesus in Pastor Bruce Workman’s church in Bucyrus in 1991. Praise be to God for bringing this man, Bruce, to teach me the Word. Bruce was a true scholar of the Bible and instilled in me many great truths. I am saddened to hear of his passing but rejoice knowing he is with the Lord! My deepest sympathy to Paula, Caleb, Cana and Candace as well as the grandkids. The photos in the video were precious. God Bless you. = Kathi
