Steven Eugene Dunn, age 64 of Delaware passed away unexpectedly at home Friday, May 20, 2016.

He was born in Delaware on February 20, 1952 to Larry and Jan (Jacobs) Dunn who survive in Marysville. A 1970 graduate of North Union High School, he attended The Ohio State University and proudly served his Country as a Veteran of the US Air Force. Steve moved to Delaware 20 years ago from Dublin and was a retired insurance agent with Standard Life Insurance Company.

Never a stranger met, he was a true salesman, great at connecting and making friends. Fun loving and caring, he always had something to say and was a gifted talker. He served in the Boy Scouts in his youth and enjoyed traveling the World, especially the Country of Turkey while stationed there. Steve was also a fan of watching basketball and golf, especially the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Buckeyes.  Always up for a good hand of euchre, he loved telling jokes, and being with his family.

In addition to his parents he is also survived by his children: Kelly (Steven) Weber of Dublin, Chris (Rebecca) Dunn of Camas, WA, grandchildren; Sydney Weber and Oliver Dunn, sisters Sherri (Robert) Bukovec of Westerville, Sonni (Bruce) Baker of Prospect, and the mother of his children Sharon Dunn of Dublin, and many close relatives and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held Wednesday from 4:30-6:30, with services to follow at 6:30 p.m. at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William St. at Valleyside Dr., Delaware.
