Steve Waldron, 57, of Marengo died Tuesday February 28, 2006 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 19, 1948, the son of the late Arthur and Donna (Woods) Waldron. Steve worked for American Showa in Sunbury for the past 10 years, where he made shock absorbers in the factory line. He has been a resident of Marengo for twenty years.
Steve will be dearly missed by his family, who he loved very much. He will also be missed by his beloved dogs “Freckles” and “Lady.”
He enjoyed spending time on the computer, going to the movies, playing matchmaker, and having a quiet evening at home.
Steve is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Mary Waldron of Marengo; two sons Todd (Heather) Waldron of Marengo and Bruce; three step-sons William (Candy) McCain of Jackson, Ohio, Ray and Daniel White; a step-daughter Rebecca (Willie) Bowling of Marengo; a grandson Todd II; five step-grandchildren Jaycee, Kaylee, Nicholas, Skyler and Cameron; a brother Dan Waldron of Grove City; a special nephew Julian Waldron; many nieces and nephews; a special uncle, Mike; two special aunts, Sandy and Scotty, and many more aunts and uncles.
At Mr. Waldron’s request cremation will take place and there will be no services. Arrangements are in care of the Craven-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Gilead. Memorial contributions can be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses. Condolences may be expressed at www.snyderfuneralhomes.com .
