BELLVILLE: Steve H. Frazier, 61, of Bollinger Road, Bellville, died Thursday, November 1, 2007 in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following an extended illness.

Steve was born January 11, 1946 in Wayside, West Virginia to Joyce and Virginia Holland Frazier, and moved to Bellville two years ago from Beckley, West Virginia.

Following high school, Steve proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, serving with the 4th Infantry Division in Vietnam.

Steve worked for Star Kraft Boat Manufacturing in Goshen, Indiana.

Steve enjoyed deer hunting and taking care of his parents, and the day-to-day operations of the family farm. A very personable and friendly guy, Steve delighted in sharing stories with his family and friends, and could spin a yarn with the best of them.

He is survived by his children Scotty Frazier, Michelle Frazier and Tammy Sue Frazier all of Indiana, and Rickey Frazier of Greenville, West Virginia; six grandchildren; four sisters and brothers-in-law Shirley A. and Floyd Weikle of Bellville, Bonnie and Perry Clark of Christianburg, Virginia, Jeannie and Bobby Davis of Blacksburg, Virginia, Katrina and Scott Frazier of Ballard, West Virginia; a brother and sister-in-law David and Ruth Frazier of Talcott, West Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved spending time and taking care of him.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by brothers and sisters Randall, Donny, Jackie and Linda K. Frazier.

Graveside services will be held Monday, November 5, 2007 at 1 pm in Bellville Cemetery with Pastor Ken Kinley officiating. Irvin Hiskey Post #535 American Legion will conduct military honors. The Bellville Snyder Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
