Shirley W. Fletcher, age 79, of Butler passed away Sunday afternoon, August 16, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus surrounded by family. She was born October 21, 1935 in Waterford to the late William E. and Etta Lou (Hughett) Wolf.

Shirley is survived by her children, Denise (Craig) Mill-Parker of Wooster, Christa (John) Trimmer of Mount Perry, Douglas (Sue) Mill of Newark, and Bretton Fletcher of Amity; 9 grandchildren and 8 great -grandchildren; a brother, Ronald (Geraldine) Wolf of Columbus; and many niece and nephews.

In following with Shirley’s wish, there will not be a public service. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.

  • I’m sending my condolences to Shirleys family…I’m so sorry for your loss what a wonderful lady she was…I first met Shirley back in the 80’s she painted a sheild for my truck and she did a great job what a talent she had and her and I talked like we had known each other for years…..She will be missed by all…May you R.I.P Shirley…..

  • Brett and family. I did not know Shirley as well as I wanted. But I always enjoyed her comments to my Facebook posts, often with an attitude that surprised me. That’s th most wonderful kind of person. I hope for your pain to ease and I know you all must be so proud of who she was. My love to you all. and I will be making a small memorial contribution to Interchurch.

  • I first met Shirley when I was a young boy, when we both attended sign language classes together. When I got involved in beekeeping about 10 years ago, Shirley and I became good friends, sharing our love of bees with each other.

    You have my deepest condolences. Shirley will be missed.
