Shirley Miller, age 68, formerly of Lewis Center passed away Friday, December 23rd following an extended illness at the Heartland of Centerburg. She was born March 19, 1937 in Greenville to Raymond Mills and Elsie James. She was a homemaker and a resident of Delaware County since 1977, was a member of the Delaware Church of Latter Day Saints, the Red Hat Society, and was a longtime Grady Hospital volunteer. In addition to volunteering, she crocheted and donated countless baby blankets to newborns and their families. She is survived by her daughter Melinda (David) Kegley of Delaware; son Michael (Deborah) Ray of Orbisonia, PA; grandsons Matthew and Andrew Kegley; a sister Janice (John) Thompson of Greenville, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Stephen Miller. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 28th from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at RODMAN BENNETT BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 92 N. Sandusky St., where a funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM with Bishop Converse of the Delaware Church of Latter Day Saints and Pastor Donnie Akers of the Eastside Mission officiating.
