BUTLER: Shirley Anne McBee Stilson Sneeringer Jordan, 72, of Main Street, Butler, Ohio, died Wednesday morning July 16, 2003 in Mansfield MedCentral Hospital from injuries she received in a Tuesday evening automobile pedestrian accident.

She was born January 8, 1931 in Columbus, to Edgar and Mary Marvene Dawson McBee, and was graduated from Columbus Central High School.

A former school bus driver for the City of Columbus, Shirley was a caregiver with River Crossing Assisted Care near Widowville, and had lived in Butler the past 15 years.

Though she enjoyed playing cards and Bingo, she genuinely loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Gary L., Sr. and Cathy Stilson of Butler and Scott R. and Patti Stilson of Perrysville; five grandchildren Gary Stilson, Jr., Anna Marie Stilson, James Stilson, Joseph Stilson, and Michelle Hicks; a sister Esther Fisherbaugh of Marysville; a cherished friend Shirley Horta; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Charles B. Stilson on February 14, 1974; her second husband John C. Sneeringer on December 29, 1998; and a brother Buddy McBee.

A memorial service will be held Saturday July 19, 2003 at 2 pm in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where friends may call the hour prior to the service. The Rev. Juan Acuna will officiate the service.
