Shirley A. Pauley Fulk passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015 in her Mansfield home surrounded by her family. She was 81.

She was born November 2, 1933 to parents Dudley & Edith Pauley in Grafton, West Virginia. Shirley graduated from Mansfield Senior High School with the class of 1951. She was an active member of First Christian Church, having served as deaconess and president of Christian Women’s Ministries and many other committees.

Shirley took pleasure in cheering on the Cleveland Cavilers, spending time on her deck, and taking care of her impatiens, and morning glory gardens. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years Harold Fulk; children Gretchen (David) Bond of Mansfield and David (Stacey) Fulk of Ashland; grandchildren Ben (Rebecca) Koehler, Matt (Summer) Koehler, Autumn Fairbanks, and Hailey Fulk; step grandson Todd; great grandchildren Izaak, and Makayla; brother-in-laws Glen (Evelyn) Fulk, Herb (Peg) Fulk, Lester (Melinda) Fulk of Ashland; sister-in law Joan Remy and Norma (Chuck) Ritter of Mansfield.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-laws Donald Fulk and Billy Remy.

A service will be held in Shirley’s memory on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 4 p.m. at First Christian Church, 200 W. Third Street, Mansfield, with one hour of calling prior to the service. Rev. Gregory Bibler will officiate.

Was surprised when I read that she passed, cause I think I just recently sent an anniversary card. Harold, I’ll try to think and give you a call sometime. Sorry I couldn’t make it up yesterday.
