Sherry L. Moxley, age 53, of Mount Vernon passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at her home.

She was born on November 20, 1964 in Mount Vernon to Siegfried and Janice (Parker) Harrison.  Sherry was employed as a STNA at Brookdale Mount Vernon.  She enjoyed knitting and crochet but most of all, Sherry loved the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Jim Moxley; her daughter Jamie (Cody) Clark; her son Ryan Moxley; two grandchildren, Kendall and Natalee Clark; her parents Siegfried (Janice) Harrison; her sisters, Monica (Jeff) Pryor, Erica (Rick) Sinsel; and her brother Rocky Harrison.

Friends may call on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 12–2PM at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home.  A memorial service will follow, beginning at 2PM, with Pastor Marvin Haught officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

  • OMG, Sieg and Janice— I am so upset right now,because I had no idea of Sherry’s health and of her passing. I truly wished I was there to comfort you and to be there for the family.
