  • Sooo sorry for your loss. Shawn was a great guy and a good golf buddy. I got to know him when we opened up Richland and enjoyed spending many hours with him on the golf course. He had a great sense of humor and was able to find the good in everyone. One of his greatest feats was ricocheting a ball off of a tree and hitting lance in the back of the head and knocking him out. I had wanted to do that for a long time. He will be sorely missed. Prayers go out to you and your family.

  • Want to send my deepeat sympathy to Shawn’s family. Every morning coming into work he always gave me a wave and a smile…Those little things some people dont do….Shawn did. When talking about his daughters sports he would always have so much energy and love! Great guy.

  • i am saddened to hear about this. I have many memories from when you attended Galion schools. You will be missed by many! Prayers to all the family and friends!

  • The Greter family sends our condolences. We pray you find strength in this sad time and also pray for healing. Our deepest sympathy to the family.

  • I Didn’t know Shawn Ingels that we’ll but what I did know is he was such nice person, he would make me laugh just listening to him .He did his job so well, with humor he will be hard to replace .With deepest sympathy.

  • We don’t know why God takes such great people from us so early in life, but he does. He has greater plans for them in heaven than here on earth. Shawn was a Fantastic Corrections Officer and I got to know him when I worked at RiCI. He surely was a great man. My prayers to his family at this time. God Bless and know that he will always be looking over you from Heaven Above.

  • this has been a very difficult time for our family and especially my dad. Shawn is my dads best friend we are close with their family. he was a funny, warm hearted man he never wanted to say much or i should say he didnt know how to say it, just like my dad. we will continue to be here for his family. Prayers sent that way!

  • I didn’t really know Shawn but I want to send my deepest sympathy to Shawn’s family. Prayers go out to you and your family.

  • Chris, Ed, & Family,
So sorry for your loss. He was a super nice person and will be missed by many. Our thoughts and Prayers go out to all of you.

  • Chris & Ed,
Our deepest sympathy to you and the entire family during this tragic and most difficult time.

  • My condolences…I am truly in disbelief about Shawn passing away so young. I have so many great memories of us playing various sports together as kids and grandma/grandpa yelling at us to stay out of the flower beds 🙂

Thoughts and prayers for the entire family.

    God Bless,

    Toby & Tayten Trail

  • My deepest sympathy to the family. It is hard to find comfort when we lose someone so dear to us, however in 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 it shows that God can be the source of true comfort. And in Revelation 21:4 what he plans to do about death. What a wonderful hope.

  • I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Shawn. I new Shawn from school and worked with him at the North Central Correctional Institution for 5 years. Shawn was a very thoughtful fun guy and he will be missed.

  • Our deepest sympathy for the family of Shawn Ingles. He was a man that people respected. Good hearted and full of practical jokes. Every morning after work we’d say “good job Shawn” and he reply “good job guys” . At first it was a bit of a joke between Shawn and his co-workers, but Shawn was an excellent officer, and an even better friend Shawn enriched the live of the people around him. He will be missed but never forgotten. Prayers for the family during this difficult time.
