Sharon R. “Shari” Holloway, age 73, of Marion, passed away Friday afternoon, March 19, 2021, at Marion General Hospital.

On December 14, 1947, Shari was born in Marion, Ohio, a daughter of Belvia Irene (Osborne) Holloway and the late Willis Dean Holloway.  She graduated from Marion Harding High School and then attended Marion Technical College.

Shari worked as an LPN for many years at Med-Center Hospital in Marion and then did private care.

She was an animal lover through and through, and especially fond of her cats.

Shari is survived by her mother, Belvia Holloway of Upper Sandusky; three siblings: Trish (Bill) Rough of Arkansas, Bill Holloway of Mississippi, Dena (Dan) Coy of Marion; a dear friend and neighbor, Tammy Thompson of Marion; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Marion Christian Center, 1550 Richland Road, Marion, OH.

Memorial contributions in Shari’s name may be made to the Homeless to Home Animal Rescue and Cat Sanctuary, 1745 Marion-Waldo Rd., Marion, OH 43302 or at
