Sharon R. Chapman, 74 passed away peacefully Sunday, June 10, 2018. Sharon was born August 4, 1943 in Logan, Ohio to the late William and Dorothy Beavers and resided in Cardington, Ohio for the last 42 years.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Roy whom she met on a blind date in 1963 and they were married 3 weeks later, November 9, 1963! He was smart enough to snag her up quickly and they were blessed to spend the next 55 years together. In addition to her husband, Sharon is also survived by her loyal, 4-legged, furry friend, Dixie. Also surviving are her children, Angie (Tony) Roush, Phillip (Jamie) Chapman and Amy Copeland. Her grandchildren, Taylor (Austin) Schindley, Seana (Joseph) La Gala, Seth Roush, Haley Chapman, Doug Copeland, Caleb Roush, Chelsea Kane, Jarett Voiers, and Amber (Sam) Ward. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren; Gracelynn & Malia Schindley, Maxwell La Gala and Lily Ward. She will also be dearly missed by best friends, Wilma and Paul Gentry.

Sharon was one of 14 children with 8 of her siblings still surviving her; William (Gladys) Beavers, Mary Lou Travis, Ruth Ann (Dave) Emmons, Bernice (Robert) Same, Donald (Mary) Beavers, Katherine (Tim) Whiteman, Evelyn (David) Pierce, Ronald (Tina) Beavers.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her siblings, Jessie Mae, Dorothy Belle, Nellie Faye, Carrie Janette, Walter Franklin.

Her family will greet friends from 4 to 7 PM, on Wednesday June 13, 2018, at the Snyder Funeral Home, Craven Chapel. (67 N. Main St., Mt. Gilead, OH 43338) A service honoring her life will be held there at 11 AM, on Thursday, June 14, 2018, with Pastor Jason Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
