Sharon Lee Hart, age 72, of Marion, died Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Sharon was born in Marion, Ohio on February 24, 1949 to the late Paul E. and Vivian Marie (Townsend) Bostic.   Sharon graduated from Harding High School in 1967 and later attended Marion Business College.

While in High School, Sharon met the love of her life, Paul Edwin Hart while he was driving her taxi to a tutoring session.  The two were wed shortly after on December 31, 1967.  Paul preceded Sharon in death on June 3, 2004.

Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.  She spent countless hours caring for her large family always making sure everyone was well fed and snuggled.  In her free time, Sharon could often be found volunteering with the CPAAA as the secretary.  She also enjoyed Bingo, word searches and spending time with the Marion Moose Women’s Auxiliary Post 448.   Appreciating nature, Sharon always had impeccable gardens, house-plants and was always up for a camping trip.

During Sharon’s working years, she was employed at The Fulfillment Corporation, Royal Gables Nursing Home and later retired from Marion General Hospital.

Sharon will be deeply missed by her children, Carolyn Hart of Mansfield, Ohio, Gail Hart of Delaware, Ohio, Teresa (Tim) Naill of Florida, and Paul Hart, Jr. of Kentucky.; 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Connie Rollison, Bob (Patty) Bostic, Lonnie Bostic and Sheila Bostic; best friend of more than 50 years, Jodene West, and countless nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Sharon is preceded in death by daughter, Paula Hart; sister, Vicki Sponenberg; grandson, Donald Coykendall.

Visitation will be held at Snyder Funeral Homes, Gunder/Hall Chapel (347 West Center St., Marion) on Friday, July 23, 2021 from 4 until 7 pm.  A 10 am funeral will be held at the funeral home on Saturday with Rev. Dale Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Marion Cemetery.
