Sharon K. Maley, 69, of Galion passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019 surrounded by her family at the Ohio State Medical Center in Columbus.

She was born September 6, 1949 in Galion and was the daughter of Forrest L. and Hazel M. (Taylor) Beach. Sharon is survived by her husband of 49 years, Richard D. Maley whom she married on February 14, 1970.

She graduated from Northmor High School in 1969 and was a homemaker. Sharon formerly attended Pines Christian Church. She loved hummingbirds, country music, spending time with her children and grandchildren and being a devoted wife to Richard.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by son, Brian (Sheila) Maley of Crestline; daughters, Delores Maley and Tammy (Kevin) Dunn all of Galion; nine grandchildren, Elizabeth Korp, Emily Maley, Jacob Maley, Danika Maley, Courtney Crider, Jenna Dunn, Rachael Dunn, Trent Dunn and Shyanne Dunn; four great-grandchildren, Lewis Korp, Leo Korp, Ava Dunn and Eli Dunn and a sister Vickie (Harold) Pfleiderer of Galion.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and Larry Beach.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2019 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 26 with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating. Burial will be in Iberia Cemetery.
