Scott Silas Davis

September 21, 1962 ‒ October 09, 2021

Marion, Ohio

Scott Silas Davis, age 59 of Marion, passed away Saturday October 9, 2021.

Scott was born September 21, 1962 in Marion, the son of Walt E. and Patricia A. (Wilson) Davis.

Scott was a gifted carpenter and contractor. It was easy for him to visualize a project and successfully make his vision a reality. Scott had a generous spirit and was always lending a helping hand for those in need. He valued the opportunity to reminisce with friends but above all, time spent with his son and grandchildren is what filled him with the greatest joy. He enjoyed growing plants, taking care of animals of any kind, listening to Classic Rock and, of course, drinking chocolate milk.

Scott is survived by his son, Brandon Scott (Amy) Davis; grandchildren: Alexia, Kailyn, and Harper; siblings: Nancy Saunders, Elainia (Chip) Trubee, Danny (Jean) Davis and Amy Davis; also surviving is sister-in-law Kathy Davis and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father and brothers: Steven and Mike Davis.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Snyder Funeral Homes, Denzer Chapel, 360 East Center St., Marion from 1PM to 2:30PM; graveside service will immediately follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Big Island.

If so desired, donations may be made to Snyder Funeral Homes to assist the family in honoring Scott.
