Scarlet Ann Henning, age 67, of Sunbury, died peacefully on Friday, October 8, 2021 at St. Ann’s Hospital following a brief illness.

Formerly employed by the Keds Corporation in Louisville, KY.

Social member of the Sunbury V.F.W. Post 8736.  Scarlet was a caring, giving person, loved by all who met her, and never spoke ill of anyone.  She enjoyed playing cards, Rummy, Yahtzee and video slot machines.  Scarlet especially loved spoiling the neighborhood kids with candy and cookies.

Scarlet was preceded in death by her parents, John B. and Anna E. (Vardeman) Hardin.

She is survived by her companion of 10 years, Gary M. Sullivan; best-friend, Darlene Tomblin; good friend, Barry Roach; and loyal pet, Jumbo.

Private family service and interment will take place in Louisville, Kentucky.
