  • My heart goes out to Saundra’s family. I worked with Saundra 11 years and we had a lot of conversations. • I have known Saundra since she was an Officer stationed in Toledo, Ohio. She was a good friend, that I didn’t get to see or talk to as much as I would have liked. I would see postings and things on Facebook, and think back to those good times when she was here. I will miss her dearly. Prayers are going out for Rachel, Hayley and Trey along with all of the grandchildren and friends she has left behind. II know that she is with our Lord and Savior where there is no more pain. Only great times with loved ones gone on before her.

  • My sister, Vickie, and I were saddened to learn of Saundra’s passing. She has been a longtime friend, even before junior high school days, and was a classmate of mine in the Class of ‘72.
I always enjoyed her – her smile, quiet demeanor, and love for her family was truly evident.
Her devotion to the workings of the Salvation Army was always evident as she served the Lord.

Thoughts and prayers are with all of her family. Keep beautiful memories alive in your hearts.

  • I was from Mansfield and Saundra from Mt Vernon. In Sept. 1973 we both went to The Salvation Army School in N.Y. and there we first met. We immediately became great friends! Saundra was always Christlike, loving and caring to all around her.

Hard to know what to say other than Saundras children and grandchildren were her priority and greatest human love.

I know I will see her again soon and we will have a great “Soldiers of the Cross” reunion.

So sad that I can not be in Ohio for the service but will be praying for her family.

    Blessings and Prayers –
