  • There are so many things we will miss about Sandie…her infectious laugh and beautiful smile, the interest she always showed in others and her love of family and friends, her down-to-earth attitude and common sense, her willingness to join in and her support and encouragement of others’ endeavors. She will always hold a special place in our hearts.

  • I worked with Sandie in Reynoldsburg for many years. She was great at her job, and always had conversation and a laugh at the ready. I am so very sorry, and extend deepest condolences to all of Sandie’s family and friends on behalf of the Kenny family, but also the whole of the Ohio Department of Agriculture.

  • My dear friend you will be missed and may our Lord guide you home to heaven.
Always enjoyed our conversations which started with a work question and ended in laughter and with you leaving me a precious memory of a true friend. And thank you for always caring and sharing your love kindness and joyful free spirit. My sincerest condolences to the family and may God bless you, comfort you and give you peace

  • I have so many fond memories of Sandie. I worked with her for several years when she was the office manager in the Reynoldsburg USDA office. She was caring helpful and all ways willing to listen. She all ways found a way to cheer me up and lighten my load. My condolences to her family.

  • Hello, I am so sorry to hear of Sandie’s passing. I met year quite a few years ago when I was on a temporary detail with the USDA in Bethel, Ohio. She was so nice and welcoming to me and made feel right at home. I’m from Florida and when i went there, it was winter. She would laugh when I came into the office with 2 coats, a hat with the hood of the jacket on too, gloves, and a scarf, shivering. I know she has left all of you with happy and cherished memories. My blessings and condolences to the family.

  • As part of a three-member team in 2017, I really appreciated your insights and candid assessment of the challenges we faced. Sandie, thank you for being there and making me smile! Though our contact was brief, the warmth of your personality touched my heart.

  • So sorry to hear of Sandie’s passing. She was lovely and kind. Her office was across the hall from mine at the OH Dept of Agriculture. We had many conversations about our families and her wish to move back to the west coast and travel.

  • I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Sandie. She was the best Office Manager that anyone could ever ask for. She was a team player who was always there for all of us. She had a special gift of getting along with everyone but most of all Sandie
I will always remember you as a down-to-earth, kind hearted woman that everyone looked forward to working with. My heart goes out to all of Sandie’s family and friends and may her sweet memory always comfort you.

  • Sissy,

So hard to put into words the mixed emotions that are pulsating through me, I will be forever impacted having had you as my sister. Though there was distance between us, you were somehow always right there. It is the little every day things you did that have had the lasting impact on my life. When I was young you stimulated my passion for Star Wars and the love of creative adventure and fantasy. You showed me the love and passion that came from the performing arts and being on stage. And I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to visit you in Germany and to see the world through a global lens at such an early age. Though you have gone to a much better place, a reminder of you has been, and will continue to be, prominently displaced in our home and it is a perfect analogy of who you were. We have a white fur blanket that you gave us as a Christmas present. And you, like that blanket, kept people warm with your generosity, made people feel comfy and cozy with your hospitality and provide a peace in knowing that you were always there when you were needed. I love you sissy and will miss you, always!
