Ryan M. Wagoner

Ryan M. Wagoner, 24, of Crestline, went to be with the Lord Friday, July 1, 2011 at Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, of injuries sustained in an ATV accident on May 29, 2011.
Born Jan. 13, 1987 in Mansfield, he was the son of Billy and Teresa Laribee Wagoner of Crestline.
Ryan was an entity unto himself.
In his early years he spent a great deal of time with his grandpa Laribee getting into mischief and also spending time tinkering with tractors, raising a variety of exotic animals, including potbelly pigs, ostriches and skunks.
Ryan graduated from Crestline High School in 2005 and joined the United States Army on his 18th birthday. He attended basic training at Fort Sill, Okla. and AIT at Fort Huachuca, Ariz. for Military Intelligence. He served one year in South Korea and 13 months in Iraq as a member of the 101st Airborne. Ryan returned to Fort Campbell, Ky. for the remainder of his four years of active duty and was an active member of the 486th Army Engineer Company of Mansfield.
He was scheduled to graduate from college in August, 2011. Ryan met the love of his life, Laura Scott at a friend’s house in Akron and they have been together for three years. They enjoyed watching movies, playing with their dog and hanging out with close friends. Laura was the best thing to happen to him. Ryan enjoyed animals, bon fires, cooking out, guns, napping on the couch, spending money and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents he is survived by two brothers, Brandon Jody Wagoner of Willard and Cameron Nicole Wagoner of Crestline; maternal grandmother, Sheila Laribee of Crestline; paternal grandparents, Shirley and Phil Buchanan of Mansfield; aunts and uncles, Carol Steve Beal of Norwalk, Mike Laribee Julie Boals and Logan Henke of Crestline, Laurie Todd Hoffman of Crestline, Linda Steve Kleman of Pittsburgh and Julie Greg Geiger of Westerville; cousins, Luke Olivia Hoffman of Crestline, Matthew Geiger and Renee Geiger of Westerville, Sara Beal of Norwalk and Dustin Melissa Beal of Norwalk; Ryan also loved his nieces and nephews, Riley, Gage, Gabby and Ayden. He was their favorite toy and they stuck to him like glue.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lawrence Laribee, paternal grandfather, Arther Wagoner and cousin, Caine Hoffman.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 8, with Pastor Jeff Pennington officiating. Interment will be in Ashland Cemetery with full military honors.
