Ruth Naomi Zeigler

BELLVILLE: Ruth Naomi Zeigler, 86, of Bell Street, Bellville died Tuesday morning March 11, 2008 in Winchester Terrace following a long illness.
She was born March 13, 1921 in Rocky River to Richard and Neva (Porter) Hagaman, and had lived in Bellville the past 50 years.
A homemaker, Ruth attended the Bellville Church of God.
Years ago, Ruth lived next to the Bellville swimming pool where she sold home made cotton candy to both children and families who spent there summer afternoons at the pool.
In her spare time she expressed her creative side by painting, and knitting quilts.
Ruth will be remembered for her giving nature and generosity. She always found joy in serving others and expressing her kindness throughout the community.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Arthur & Linda Zeigler of Mansfield, David Zeigler of Mt. Vernon, and Jim & Jill Zeigler of Fredericktown; grandchildren Sonia, Lisa, Dana, Artie, Jr., and Justin; sisters and brothers-in-law Wanda & Ken Dailey of Mt. Vernon, Alice & Ham Hamilton of Cape Coral, Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard L. Zeigler in 1975. Also deceased are sisters Norma Henthorn, Dorothy Asher, and Virginia Brooks, and a brother Richard Hagaman.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 13, 2008 from 4-7 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Brian Phillips will officiate. Burial will follow in Bellville Cemetery.
