Ruth A. Callahan went to be with the Lord Tuesday evening, April 28, 2020, in Colonial Manor Health Care Center surrounded by her family. She was 90.

She was born July 6, 1929, in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Bert & Gladys (Doty) Taylor. She graduated from East High School with the class of 1947.

Ruth was a loving and devoted homemaker for her husband, her two children, her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren throughout the years. Aside from caring for her family, Ruth also made custom lamp shades for families in Shaker Heights. In her spare time, she took pleasure in knitting, crocheting, and baking and decorating cakes, especially for special occasions for her family. Ruth was also very active in her church and played the organ and piano at church for over 70 years. She continued her love of playing the piano at Colonial Manor for the residents.

She is survived by her son James M. (Carol) Pullin Sr. of Monroe Falls, Ohio; her daughter Nancy Pullin of Loudonville; 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her brother Burt Taylor; and sisters Eleanor Taylor and Carol (John) Balough; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Maurice; great-grandson Andrew Moore; sisters Joyce (Andrew) Youchak and Judy (Ronald) Richley; and 3 nieces Doreen Richley, Amy Youchak, and Debbie Balough.

A memorial service will held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at the Loudonville Baptist Temple.
