Ruby P. Weber, age 88 of Radnor passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Country Club Rehabilitation Campus of Delaware.

Born on January 5, 1928 in Delaware, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Alverta (Leeser) Hedges. She retired from Ranco where she worked as an inspector, in her younger years she worked as a waitress for the former Islay’s Shop of Delaware.

Strong willed and determined she possessed a compassionate heart and a persistent attitude. When she was able she attended the Radnor Baptist Church. She also served as a volunteer at Grady Memorial Hospital.

Ruby had a passion for fishing and camping, especially at Lake Erie, her favorite place. A fabulous cook, she will long be remembered for her perch and walleye dinners. She enjoyed painting and reading novels. Loving and family oriented she was never one to give up, a true fighter until the very end.

She will be remembered for her love of family, spending time with her grandkids and enjoying their company. Ruby was grateful for her many blessings, most importantly her salvation and God’s saving grace.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years Robert, son David (Beth) Weber of Radnor, daughter Shirley Paul of Marion, daughter-in-law Fran Kise of Marion, 6 grandchildren Joe (Lena) Kise, Jennifer (Greg) Cobb, Marty Paul, Caleb (Brianna) Weber, Calley (Ross) Rodman, Colton Weber, 8 great-grandchildren with one more expected.
She was also preceded in death by her son Larry Kise in 1991, brother Harold Hedges, and sister Beatrice Roosa.

Friends may call from 10:30 am until 12:00 (noon) Thursday January 21, 2016 at the Snyder Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William Street at Valleyside Drive, Delaware. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 (noon) with Pastor Paul Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Radnor Cemetery.
