Roy loved cars and was once the proud owner of a Classic Capris and a Monte Carlo.  Although, his dream car was ’67 Nova Duce.

He will be remembered as a “simple man”.

In addition to his mom he will be missed by his brothers and their children Greg (Susan) Hall of Hanover, Ohio; their kids Shauna (Mark), Mic (Deetra), and Logan; and Gary (Jenny) Hall of Newark; their kids Josh (Jenn), James (Brandy), Brandon (Alisha), Tim, Hunter, and Jessica; significant other Lori Liming-Baker; former wife Tina Hall-Wagner; special canine companions Molly, Missy, and Mimi; and many more nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his father J.P; nephew Matthew; special canine angel; and other family members.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 2:30 PM at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 637 North State 61, Sunbury, Ohio 43074.  Burial to follow at Bloomfield Cemetery near Sparta.  Friends may call on the family from 12:30 PM until the time of the service.

Family has asked that those attending the services dress casually, because that’s the way Roy would want it.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.  Donations beyond the funeral will go to Juvenile Diabetes.

The DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home of Sunbury is honored to serve Roy’s family.  Special memories and condolences can be shared with them at www.snyderfuneralhomes.com .

  • What do you say at a time like this except I’m sorry for your loss. It just seems generic. It was a pleasure knowing Roy although I haven’t seen him since we graduated. He will forever be in my thoughts as the one guy that always smiled and once you became a friend you were also family. I hung out with him a lot back in the day because he lived by my bestie Cindy Trimmer. He helped us sneak out of her house a few times so she could get together with Tony. One of those late night sneak outs ended with all 3 of us with mud from head to toe when we fell in a mudhole. Good times. Rest easy my friend, my brother.

  • I am so sorry to hear of Roy’s passing. Always remember the good times we all had in high school. Thinking about you all!
