Ron L. Caltrider

MANSFIELD: Ron L. Caltrider, Sr., 55, of Mansfield, died Tuesday morning July 11, 2006 in his home following a short illness.
He was born August 2, 1950 in Shelby to Robert Gail and Donna Catherine (Hoover) Caltrider, and remained a lifelong Richland County resident.
Ron had worked more than eight years in the warehouse with AVI Food Systems, Inc.
He was a member of Diamond Hill Cathedral.
Ron enjoyed collecting country music memorabilia, and amassed quite an assortment of talking and musical novelties and collectibles.
He is survived by his wife Judy L. (Kelser) Caltrider, whom he married October 4, 1969; daughter Tammy Caltrider of Mansfield; son Michael Lee Caltrider of Mansfield and his fiancée Michelle Cobb of Mansfield; a daughter-in-law Barbie Caltrider of Mansfield; three grandchildren Ronnie Lee Caltrider, III, and Aaron Lee Caltrider; three step grandchildren Travis Hartge, Amanda Oakes, and Kyle Borders; a brother Larry Caltrider; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son Ronnie Lee Caltrider, Jr.; his father Robert Caltrider; his mother Donna Caltrider Smith; his step-father Ernest Smith; and a brother Robert Caltrider.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 13, 2006 from 4-8 pm in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be held Friday at 1 pm. The Rev. Mel Schroeder will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park.
