Robert P. “Bob” Wolfhope

JOHNSVILLE: Robert P. “Bob” Wolfhope, 78, of County Road 242, Johnsville, died Saturday afternoon October 7, 2006 in Heartland of Centerburg following a ten-month illness.
He was born August 21, 1928 in New Baltimore, Somerset County, Pennsylvania, the son of Clement and Theresa (Restly) Wolfhope, and has lived in the Johnsville area since 1955.
Bob worked as a milk deliveryman for the former Cedarbrook and Borden Dairies. He retired from Central Ohio Warehouse in Shelby as well as delivery work for Interstate Optical. Following his retirement, he kept busy with VCR repair, based from his home.
He is survived by his wife Temple (Bennett) Wolfhope, whom he married October 14, 1949; a son Steven (Pattie) Wolfhope of Derry, NH; two daughters Dianne (Tim) Eichorn and Brenda Wolfhope all of Johnsville; grandchildren Stefanie (Steve) Smith, David (Becky) Eichorn, Daniel (Holly) Eichorn, Bethany (Steven) Diehl, Justin Wolfhope, Brian Eichorn, Sarah Wolfhope; great grandchildren, Clarissa Wolfhope, Tiffany Smith, Leanne and Madison Eichorn, Timothy and Ryan Diehl; sisters and brothers-in-law Margaret & Lloyd Felten of Manns Choice, PA, and Rita & Clyde Bailey of Collinsville, IL.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 11, 2006 from 5-8 pm in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, and Thursday from 9:30 am until time for the 10:30 am funeral service. Pastor Lambert Sommers will officiate. Burial will follow in Shauck Cemetery.
