Robert “Kickstand” “Bobby” Satterfield Jr., age 51 of Mt. Vernon passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at home.
He was born on December 23, 1964 in Mt. Gilead to the late Robert and Thelma (Covrett) Satterfield. A graduate of Centerburg High School in 1983, he participated in the auto body program with the Mt. Vernon Joint Vocational School.
A truck driver and carpenter by trade, he was a member of the Mt. Vernon Moose and the Sons of AMVETS Post 95. He enjoyed a passion for Harley Davidson Motorcycles and poker runs. With an interest in history, he was also a huge Elvis fan. He also followed the OSU Buckeye football and women’s basketball teams.
