  • Life passes too quickly as now I find myself the age at which Bob was when we first met 25 years ago. Bob was truly a unique spirit, gifted in the arts and gentle of the soul. I feel blessed to have spent some time with him along life’s journey and my sympathy extends to the family.

  • My wife and I, and my family, were so sorry to hear of Mr. Dell’s passing. I was a teenager in the early ’60s when I met him — before I was allowed to call him “Bob.” My wife met him perhaps once, maybe forty years ago; yet, she remembered him. He was the kind of character who could fit in and stand out, no matter what the nature of the setting or group. I have particularly fond memories of skiing at Snow Trails.

As it happens, we were just in Columbus last week but learned of his passing only after we’d left. Perhaps we can see Bertie sometime on another trip there.
