Rhonda Louise “Roni” Keating, age 68, of Marion, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 29, 2021, at home following a brief illness.

On February 22, 1953, Rhonda was born in Washington D.C., the daughter of the late James W. Twigg and E. Marie (Akers) McGlothin. She was raised in Kettering, Ohio, where she graduated from Fairmont High School East. She also attended Marion Technical College.

In addition to being a loving homemaker, Roni had worked as a customer service representative at the Kable Fulfillment Company. She was an animal lover, having several canine companions over the years including her special pup, Sadie.

Very faithful, Rhonda loved her church and church family at True Life Church in Marion. She also enjoyed taking trips to Amish Country, and doing arts and crafts.

She will be missed by her husband, Jon D. Keating; son, Steven Twigg; granddaughter, Zoe Twigg; two sisters: Sharon (Ed) Pence, and Lynn Faulkner; step-father, Butch McGlothin; two brothers: Bill (Brenda) Twigg, and Jeff (Betty) McGlothin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Including her parents, Rhonda was preceded in death by her brother, Dean McGlothin; and brother-in-law, Vince Faulkner.

Services honoring her life will be observed privately by her family.

“For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands.” 2 Corinthians 5:1
