Rhonda Branam

August 18, 1956 ‒ November 12, 2019

Mansfield, Ohio

UPDATE: Please join Rhonda’s family 11am Tuesday, November 19, 2019, for a graveside service in Bellville Cemetery officiated by Celebrant Jerry Wilson. All are welcome to attend.

Rhonda (Coffer) Thompson Branam, age 63, passed away November 12, 2019, at OhioHealth Riverside in Columbus with family close by her side following a very recent cancer diagnosis.

She was born August 18, 1956, in Pontiac, MI to parents Walton Frank & Janice (Grant) Coffer. Rhonda worked 36 years as a Quality Inspector for Stoneridge Hi-Stat in Lexington. While at work, she met Virgil Branam and after ten years together, they eloped in Las Vegas on Valentine’s Day 2007.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and attended all of her grandkids’ sporting events. Rhonda was a giving, compassionate, loving woman and was also a dog lover and liked to shop. She and her husband were blessed to travel and enjoyed trips to Amish country, PA, NY, Disney, Punta Cana for her 50th birthday, and a memorable family trip to Myrtle Beach where they survived a hurricane!

Rhonda was an incredible cook. She made everything with love (and rarely needed a recipe) and cooked a phenomenal dinner for her entire family every Sunday—as she called it, “Sunday Funday.” She will be dearly missed by family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband Virgil Branam of Mansfield; children Tina Hively, Randy Jr. (Kris) Thompson, Stacey Aldridge, Ricky Branam, Jeremy (Miranda) Branam, and Brian Branam; grandchildren Kenny Hively, Dylan Warner, Shelby Warner, Jayden Thompson, Ryder Aldridge, Reagan Aldridge, and Rylan Aldridge; great-grandson Kavian Hively; and brothers “Micky” Coffer and Carl Coffer.

She was preceded in death by her father Frank Coffer and her mother Janice Brock.

Her family will receive friends from 4-7 pm Friday, November 15, 2019, in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home (81 Mill Road) where a funeral service honoring her life will be held 11 am Saturday officiated by Celebrant Jerry Wilson and friends are invited to call the hour prior. Her final resting place will be in Bellville Cemetery at a later date. Contributions to the American Cancer Society may be brought or sent to the funeral home.
