Rev. Kenneth L. Marsh, 87, of Mt. Gilead, Ohio died Thursday, April 10, 2003 in the Morrow County Hospital ECF.

He was born in Townville, PA, on June 22, 1915, the son of the late Harry and Grace Beebower Marsh. He graduated from the Cleveland Bible College. He served as the pastor for Baptist churches in Dodgeville and Struthers, for the Gilead Friends Church from 1946 to 1954, and for the Peace United Church of Christ for 18 years until retiring. Kenneth also was an evangelist for the Friends Church. He also worked for North Electric in Galion for 20 years. He was a member of the Gilead Friends Church, the Florida Light & Life Free Methodist Church, and the Heart of Ohio Chapter # 7 of the Good Sam Camping Club.

He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Madelyn & Phillip Crail of Elk Grove Village, IL; two sons and daughters-in-law Keith “Larry” & Sharon Marsh of Mason, OH, and Timothy “Tim” & Wilma Marsh of Ft. Wayne, IN; 7 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and a sister Helen Altenburg of Townville, PA.

His wife Alice A. Peavy Marsh, whom he married Aug. 25, 1936, preceded him in death on Dec. 26, 1998. Two brothers Wilfred and Donald Marsh also preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the Snyder Funeral Home in Mt. Gilead on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Pastors Ron Ellyson, Brian Mosher and Bill Kuhn will conduct funeral services in the Gilead Friends Church on Monday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Gilead Friends Cemetery.
