Rebecca Page, 89, of Brandon, Florida, and formerly of Springfield, Ohio, was called home by her Lord and Savior, the morning of Sunday, April 27, 2014. Rebecca was born November 4, 1924, in Cleveland, Ohio.

While living in Springfield, Rebecca was an active member of Highlight Baptist Church, Restored Life Ministries Church, and Mt. Pilgrim AME Church; having served on the Senior Usher Boards. Rebecca was a faithful servant and member of New St.Paul AME Church in Tampa, Florida.

Rebecca was also a member of the Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. Though her status was inactive, Soror Jessie Shropshire, of Springfield, eloquently stated: “Once a sister, always a sister.” Faithful servant and member of New St. Paul AME Church
Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Marie Gay and Rosa Lee Danzy; brothers Jimmy and “Junior” Page; and her only child Patricia Hicks- Edwards.

Rebecca, affectionately known as “Mommo,” is survived by her grandchildren James (Marcellena) of Kansas City, Missouri; Regina (Tyrone Sr.) of Lewis Center, Ohio and Richard Sr., of Springfield, Ohio; great grandchildren Jamoree, Tatiana, James, Richard Jr., JaDayia, Tierra, Syncere, Tyrone Jr., and Ty’Anna; One great-great grandchild, Melayna; nieces Elaine Barclay and Earleen Lee; nephew Maurice Howard; several great nieces and nephews; special friends and family Rev. Karen (Leroy) Sims and Joanne Mumford of Tampa, Fl., Minnie Bethel, Carleen Castleberry, and Jessie Shropshire of Springfield, Ohio.

Cremation Services were provided by Snyder Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William Street, Delaware, Ohio 43015.

A Memorial Service will take place in Brandon, Florida at a later date.
