MANSFIELD: Raymond Miller Jr., 69, died Tuesday evening December 25, 2007 at Mansfield MedCentral Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.

Raymond was born in Mansfield on May 8, 1938 to Raymond Sr. and Helen (Prosser) Miller.

A lifelong area resident Raymond worked as a delivery courier for several local area businesses.

Raymond attended Hope Church in Sulfur Springs.

He enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre. Having a passion for racing, Raymond loved car shows, drag racing, and NASCAR. He also enjoyed fishing at any local lake or pond. Most recently Raymond began collecting watches, any and all types.

Raymond will be remembered for his sense of humor along with an unparalleled love for his family.

Raymond is survived by his first family, wife Betty Lou (Hetler) Miller of Mansfield; children and their spouses Raymond and Pam Miller of Mansfield, Robert and Linda Miller of Mansfield; grandchildren Emma, Nichole, Ryan, and Johnny; great grandchildren Blake and Breonnah; sisters and brothers-in-law Betty and Jack Reeder of Galion, Shirley and Charles Riddle of Galion, Beverly Herritt of Mansfield, Pat Lawhorn of Mansfield, Nancy and Arnold Thompson of Mansfield, Judy and Joe Owens of Mansfield, Mary and Ron Oden of Harrisburg, PA, Maxine and Argus Middleton of Mansfield, Peggy Vaczqus of Mansfield, a brother and sister-in-law Eugene and Penny Miller of Mansfield, sisters-in-law Mary Ann Robertson of Mansfield, Phyllis and Joe Hoff of Marion, and Mary Hetler, Mansfield.

Raymond is also survived by his second family, companion Diane (Greenawalt) Miller and daughter Rachel Miller of Mansfield; mother-in-law Vera Greenawalt of Greenwich, brothers and sisters-in-law and their spouses Sue Greenawalt of Mansfield, Carol and Mike Baker of Shiloh, Dawn Hall of Roanoke, VA, Dan and Karen Greenawalt of Ashland, Lisa and Tim Whisler of Mansfield, Bonnie and Dave Hall of Willard, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, his mother and father-in-law Joseph and Katherine Hetler, father in-law Wilbur Greenawalt, brother-in-law Rick Greenawalt and other numerous-in-laws.

Friends may call Friday, December 28, 2007 from 4-7PM at the Lexington Avenue Snyder funeral home where the funeral will be held Saturday at 10:30AM. Pastor Walter Keib will officiate. Burial will follow in Shauck Cemetery, Johnsville.

Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society may be made at the funeral home.
