  • Dear Family of Gene; l was so sorry to hear of the passing of my old friend of many years ago. Even though I do not know any of you, my thoughts and prayers are with you tonight. I worked with Maaac back in 1960’s at the Lima Telephone and Telegraph Co. I have many fond memories (and some pictures I would like to share with the family if you reply with an email address to send them. Gene was at our wedding when I married my wife Ruthann of 60 years. In fact he was in a group of friends who were desperately looking for our 1957 Ford that was hidden so they could decorate it for us before our honeymoon trip to Florida.

May Raymond rest in peace. I am sure he is renewing old acquaintances and resting in the Lord.
