Raymond C. “Bud” Zeger

Raymond C. (Bud) Zeger, 82, of Galion died Wednesday March 1, 2006 at the Galion Community Hospital Extended Care Facility. He had been in declining health for several years having spent the last four years as a resident at the Extended Care Unit.
He was born in Morrow County on March 10, 1923 the son of the late Clarence J. and Imo G. (Wirick) Zeger. He lived his entire life in this area. Ray was a farmer in earlier years and had retired from Galion Dresser.
Raymond married Beverly Johnson Ison in 1981. She preceded him in death on August 1, 2005
He is survived by one sister Lucille Lahman of Hennessy, Oklahoma, four brothers; Richard, Warren, and Clarence Zeger all of Galion, Ohio and Kay Zeger of Mesa, Arizona, three step-sons; David Amick, Nick Ison, and Steve Ison, one step-daughter; Carol Ford, eleven step-grandchildren, eight step-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Cloyd Zeger of Galion.
Services will be held on Saturday March 4, 2006 at 12:00 PM at the Craven Funeral Home, 67 North Main Street Mount Gilead with Rev. Don Lockwood officiating.
